Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Film Forge Studio, operated by Pro-Cast Studios. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Film Forge Studio produces films, intros and channel graphics using AI based on your instructions. We work to keep the service available and improving, but may update, pause or change features as the product develops.

AI content — check before you render

Film Forge Studio uses advanced AI to research topics, write scripts, produce narration and source pictures. AI can make mistakes — it may misstate a fact, misspell a name or choose an unsuitable image. It is your responsibility to check your film for accuracy before you render it, while corrections are still free.

Making changes after a film has been rendered is charged at the rate shown at the time, and rebuilding an accepted film costs the full credit price again.

It is also your responsibility to check a film for accuracy before publishing it to external sites such as YouTube, TikTok or Instagram. Film Forge Studio accepts no liability for customers' creations, including any factual errors, statements or claims they contain, or any consequences of publishing them.

Your account

  • You must provide a genuine email address and keep your sign-in secure.
  • One account per person; accounts are not transferable.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, misuse the service, or remain unused after a notice period. Closing an account removes any of its films from the community page.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service to create unlawful, defamatory, hateful or misleading content, or to impersonate others.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt the service or access other people's accounts.

Materials from outside Film Forge

  • Only upload music, images, logos or clips that you own or have a licence to use. You remain fully responsible for anything you supply, including securing permission for any people, places or works shown in it.
  • Do not upload copyrighted material belonging to someone else — commercial music, film or TV clips, photographs or artwork — unless you hold the rights to use it.
  • Music from the Film Forge library is licensed for use in your films. Where a track carries an attribution requirement, it is shown with the track and you should copy it into your video description when publishing.
  • If a rights holder makes a claim about material you supplied, it is a matter between you and them.

Ownership and publishing

All films, intros and graphics you create with Film Forge Studio are owned by you, the customer — not by Film Forge Studio or Pro-Cast Studios. Once accepted and paid for in credits, your films are yours to publish and monetise anywhere; we take no share of your earnings. You are responsible for following each platform's rules (for example YouTube's monetisation policies) and for the accuracy of content in your films before publishing.

Payments and credits

Credit packs are one-off purchases processed securely by our payment provider. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable between accounts, and are governed by our refunds and credits policy. Free trial credits may be withdrawn if an account is closed.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Films, intros and graphics are customers' creations: Film Forge Studio accepts no liability for their content, accuracy or use once delivered. We are not liable for indirect losses (such as lost revenue on a platform) arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. Contact: Pro-Cast Studios, info@procaststudios.net.
